AP Calculus exam
quiet musings on
a bleak November day
The wind roars and whistles along
rattling the windows
Outside each leaf joining another
to form a small cyclone
just outside the window
"Let's open the window and catch leaves!" he exclaims.
Later, sirens roar
as dark death descends to claim its victims.
It swoops down to collect its due
. . . a stadium
. . . a restaurant
. . . a theatre
Perpetrated by evil
wrapped in a false cloak of faith
Where is the innocence?
La vie en rose?
