Webs of Lies

Like the lowly spiders
you all wove and spun
your webs of lies

Your metamorphoses
spidery and clever (or so you thought)
to entangle

Not to find truth
but to further widen
your Perdition

From my childhood
to the for
forever lies

Who can trust
the voices so smooth
so glidden with hope

To Prevaricate
they were your missions
your narrow paths from the start

Onward you continue
lowly, little spiders
to weave your webs of falsehoods

Never finding the true path
Oh so sweet
That I travel on
