When angels weep

single tear
slips down the cheek

The feathered wing
hangs limp

The heart is full
of sad despair

The soul
just wants to free

The never ending
pain it feels.

So where on high
do angels fly

To find the peace
they seek?

To balm the soul
and mend the heart

Of one so young
and sweet?

Oh angels fly
once in the sky

To bring the sad
relief

The angel there
on shoulder lay

A teardrop
slowly sink.
